Herbie's Everyday Peanut Butter Chocolate Smoothie
Daily Peanut Butter Powder Chocolate Whey Smoothie
Everyday peanut butter powder chocolate smoothie with whey, Greek yogurt, stevia, water, and half a frozen banana. Optional creatine, collagen, ashwagandha, chia, and a touch of dragon fruit.
Instructions
-
Add the water and Greek yogurt to the blender first so powders do not stick.
-
Add peanut butter powder, stevia, salt, and whey. If using unflavored or vanilla whey, add cocoa and the extra stevia here too.
Prep -
Add optional powders and seeds (creatine, collagen, ashwagandha, chia), then the frozen banana and optional dragon fruit.
-
Blend on high 45-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape the sides once if needed.
Cooking -
Thickness tip: start closer to 3/4 cup water for a thicker shake. Splash in more water if it is too thick to blend. Add a few ice cubes only if you want it colder and fluffier.
-
Taste and adjust stevia or a pinch more salt. Pour and drink.
Notes
- Peanut butter powder is basically defatted ground peanuts. You can swap in regular peanut butter (about 2 tbsp), but the smoothie will be oilier and higher in fat.
- Pink dragon fruit can tint the drink pinkish. Use white or non-pink if you want a classic chocolate look, or enjoy the tint.
- Creatine, collagen, and ashwagandha are optional pantry add-ins. Use your usual serving sizes and skip anything you do not keep on hand.
- Water keeps this light and everyday. If you want it richer, swap part of the water for milk.
- Want the richer blender version with regular peanut butter, cocoa, honey, yogurt, and acai? See Balanced Peanut Butter Chocolate Power Smoothie.
