If I only needed the charger to stay put, I'd start with Orbitkey. A deep PU blotter can hide front-edge clips under an inch of overhang, but the strip under the desk is still a tray job.

Holder, hub, or coverage
Holders clip a cable to the mat so the charger does not yank onto the floor when you stand. Orbitkey uses a magnetic slider. Function101 uses two blocks you can also weight on the desk edge. Coverage is different. A 24-inch-deep mat can hang a little over the front and hide adhesive clips. Felt drapes enough to cover a clip line along the back.
Sit-stand slack and the USB-C lead
If the desk rises, leave slack in every cable that goes to the wall or the PC. A short USB-C lead into a Corsair hub will tug when you stand. Edge clips still do the holding. Clean the edge before the clip goes on. The mat is the curtain.

Orbitkey is built around a toolbar. The magnetic holder slides so a laptop charger stays on the desk instead of yanking onto the floor. That is the cable job.
Under the top layer is a pocket for loose paper. Vegan leather wipes. The felt base grips. Large is about 35 by 17 inches, not a 48-inch cover.
I'd buy this if one charger is the job. One holder is not a cable tray. HDMI and a power strip still need clips or an under-desk basket.

Function101 puts two silicone blocks on a 31 by 16 inch PU pad. The pad is metal-infused, so the blocks stick anywhere on it. You can also weight them on the desk edge off the pad.
Two cables is the limit that matters. Laptop charger and a phone lead. Not a dock farm. The PU top wipes.
Only 17 ratings as of 2026-09-05. That is too thin to lean on. I don't think this is the first buy unless you want two blocks and you can live with a tiny sample. The blocks are also extra parts to lose.

The MM700's cable trick is a hub, not a clip. Two USB ports sit on the 48 by 24 inch cloth. Plug a mouse or headset there. The run to the PC is one USB-C cable to the mat.
That hides dongles you used to leave on the floor. It does not hide the wall cord or a power strip. Cloth still stains.
I'd take this if you want those two USB plugs on the pad. If the desk rises, leave slack in the USB-C lead. A short cable will tug when you stand.

This Aothia is 47.2 by 23.6 inches. Hang the front inch over the desktop edge and the plastic clips sit under the PU. That is how a mat hides cables without a magnet.
No holder. Cords still need clips or a tray. The blotter only covers the plastic.
I would not treat a deeper sheet as a cable manager. Suede back. Wipe the top. If you need the charger to stay on the surface, add Orbitkey or Function101.
