Homemade Papaya Orange Juice
DIY Fresh Papaya and Orange Juice Blend
Homemade stand-in for Pete's Fresh Squeezed Papaya & Orange when you want that soft tropical orange blend without the juice bar bottle.
Instructions
-
Blend papaya until completely smooth. Strain if you want a silkier mixer.
-
Stir together 4 oz papaya puree and 4 oz orange juice.
Prep -
Taste. Add a little sweetener only if it tastes flat or green.
Cooking -
Chill. Stir before measuring into drinks.
Notes
- Pete's label reads Fresh Squeezed Papaya & Orange. No percentages are printed, so equal parts is a starting point, not an official formula.
- If it tastes too thick for shaking into cocktails, thin with 1 oz more orange juice.
- Yield is about 8 oz. Use 1 oz homemade for every 1 oz Pete's Papaya & Orange.
- Keeps refrigerated up to 2 days. Stir before each use.
